cause i been doin it every day for over a decade in many countries
and i bought up hundreds of skate magazines,
could have bought a fuckin bmw with all the money i have put into it
watched almost every single video that pro companies put out

and its fuckin weak as hell when people associate you with that frigger on the pro active commerical because skateboarding is gnar as fuck, its street, its grime, its a good taste of real life at a young age. people can hang out any age group, there is no bullshit or predispositions or anything like that. if you can shred in any form i dont care if its tranny, freestyle, or technical ledge hammers. even if you aint that good, you get respect, there is always gonna be dickheads but they always fizzle out in the long run.

when i started skating around 96 or 97, when i saw someone with a skateboard brand on their t-shirt i was hyped. you knew they skated pretty much off the bat cause not a lot of people in my area were rockin that shit. obviously there were still posers back then who didnt skate and still rocked that shit, but it was so much less common than it is now. every fucker has skate shoes now, and when i tell people i skate they probably picture me in full pads rolling around on a half-pipe or soem shit i dont even know.

yeah this has been said by many skaters before me, but the point still stands, the more pussy asses in there are in pro skating, the wacker it gets. the feeling is still the same but i dont want to come across as some fucking fairy, and thats why we need fuckers like phelps, to keep people knowing that this shit is not a game for children to play, this is grown man shit, and i am fucking obsessed with it.

Yeah this sucks.  I mean I don't know a lot about the Phelper, but his reputation has always preceded him.   Until now...  I don't like people who are always assholes, but I do like people who are real, and from the little bit of footage and words I've seen and read from him, I always assumed that he was real.

Well, fuck.  Something must have happened.  He must have been threatened by one of the head honchos or some shit.  I mean he's totally being sarcastic and shit in the last two videos.  Someone must have told him to cool it.

I'd say lawyers were involved at someone's end. defamation/libel is grounds to sue someone, especially when business interests/revenue is threatened. and that's basically what is was, no matter how lame the people on his list are. and it likely wouldn't just be jake that could be sued, but HSP too. lawyers throw any name/entity into a suit they can. they're swine. I mean, really, beyond hirata, he slandered purkiss-rose, who probably have some cash to buy some liars, I mean, lawyers.

when you think of the reach thrasher has, the weight that it carries among skaters worldwide, a few seemingly harmless web clips could really damage someone and/or a business. now, anyone that supports purkiss rose deserves to be slandered, yes - I'm not backing hirata. at all. I'm just saying - the reality of it, the shitty truth of our society, is that people get sue-happy. and really, hirata, and his sponsors (like purkiss rose) could, after a chat with a money-grubbing lawyer, get motivated to rain on the hate parade.

i was looking forward to the other "days of hate" but I doubt we'll see them (in that format anyway).

If something's clearly opinion or true, then it isn't slander.  Saying a park is shitty is opinion.
