And a lot of the people I hang out with are obsessed with Neil Young, and the Band, and now Neil Young is kinda ruined for me.

Hate to admit it, but I like some Dead.  Probably from growing up with old bikers.

On the other hand, I really can't get into Rush.  I mean they are okay if I hear em
on the radio or something, but some of my friends are just kookoo for Rush and
paying $100 to see them and all.

i did go to the swanee river music festival one year because my girl at the time wanted me to go with her and a bunch of her friends were hippies. it was so bizarre watching these people in their natural habitat.

lots of:
drugs
dreads and/or tangled hair
patchouli
hackysacks
frisbees

very little:
bras
shoes
deodorant
shaved girls

i only made it through one night and had to break out (i think it was a 3 night, 4 day thing and i don't even know who played).

i guess that doesn't really help my case too much...but seriously, i was a bboy throughout all this. there are no hippy bboys! while i also have a mouse-bee playing a washboard, a lizard playing the congos, and a porcupine playing the trumpet "jamming" with the turtle, i have a penguin and a platypus bboying in the mix.
