have u tried skatin to neil young playin (obviously over speakers... headphones are bitchassness)? shit sucks. not only am i not feelin the music... its always to mellow... cant blast an air when i feel like im being put to sleep. when theirs tranny to be skated its gotta be slayer, metallica (first 4 albums or so), danzig, bad brains... something fast and rad...

by the way, aerosmith really sucks, but ya gotta have some talent to get that far...

10+ years ago, you would be hard pressed to find someone under 30 (maybe even 40) that didn't like them.

If you say you can't skate with metal blaring, I doubt you have actually tried it.  Slayer or anything in that vicinity makes EVERY session, regardless of pool/park/street, better.  I am not even that big of a metalhead, but something about it is great.

Alot of people I know lump Nirvana in with Pearl Jam and it bums me out. Definently one of my favs (Nirvana that is)

yeah, two different deals, for sure. pearl jam, nirvana, soundgarden, alice in chains. all those bands from seattle are always lumped together but basically sound nothing alike.

nirvana rips. in utero is amazing. one of the top played albums in my whole life. it almost became cliche to say you like them or something, sort of like the beastie boys. horseapples! long live gnarvana.

I know this will get an angry response... why is everyone so hype on pearl jam? they have like a max of like 2 songs that are tolerable, then way to many slow terrible ones... and for some reason everyone loves them. do i just not get it?
