Ian Curtis' voice was amazing, the rest of joy division was pretty much just Martin Hannett's production
you kind of need to be in the right mood to listen to it

also I'm sorry but I really don't like a lot of david bowie's stuff, I know he was influential and all but he kind of overdid it with the gimmicks

I was playing COD:WOW & I told this one guy to stop being a little bitch. Well, I wasn't aware that this douche lived down the street and he busted into my friend's place & pulled a gun on us. The fucker didn't realize that he was outnumbered so we took his gun & threw his ass out.

Oh man, Ian Curtis' voice is rough...it all reminds me of some bad black-and-white b-movie.

David Bowie is great...he has some boring songs, definitely, but I love Ziggy Stardust, one of my favorite albums...and "Life on Mars?" is fsho a favorite song.  He has a good deal of clunkers though.

I like some early Offspring, but the rest pretty much blows, much like the other bands you listed.

My friend found his old linkin park album the other day and put it on...I realized that I still remember the lyrics to that whole album from my childhood, almost every single word

after that album was when I bought BR's No Control and it all went from there

Totally agree. I can't get into Bowie for shit. I respect him as an artist but I don't dig it.

I'll agree on everything there, except rage. hwo could you hate on them? basically they got everything covered, their like a rap metal funk band. AND their stickin it to the man. Ill back them.
