the other day I was skating and some kid was wanting to check out my deck, so I let him take a gander at
it, he said his friend had the same wheels, so I said cool (they are spit classics), but then he
asked me if I had them on backwards, because the writing was on the outside.  I just chuckled and
said "come on now" and skated off

that's when you just get all mike v on his ass and start doing boneless variations. because you're a skateboarder, man, and skateboarding isn't about rules, man, and if you're a skateboarder you ain't got time for rules, man, and you're a skateboarder, man....

Apparently skateboarding is about spending 20 years trying to look and act as violent and intimidating as possible and then, while appearing on one of the most widely broadcast events in the history of skateboarding, doing the most flamboyant and ridiculous tricks you can muster.

It's true there are no rules, but that ain't going to make me want to do the tricks you're doing.

Why DO we put graphics in?

I need real friends who skateboard so I wouldn't have to ask you all these embarrassing questions.

graphics diversify the product portfolio of wheel companies which sell more wheels. we all know they will rub off in 2 days and the only real function they have is to tell us the size and durometer when we are buying them...but since they are putting that stuff on anyway, they add graphics that will hopefully catch our attention and get us to choose them over another brand.
