I've destroyed some of my favorite art I've made, and while I wish I didn't sometimes, I never try to recreate it.

i meant famous art, and since most of those artists are dead, i was implying that others would try to recreate it and/or take credit for it.

i think there's too much of an open market for all types of art.

thinking back to when artists were poor, miserable, and unpopular but once they died their works were revolutionary.

what does it take to be revolutionary nowadays? any hipster with a hookup can get a Juxtapoz article.

It does give me a bummer vibe.  It looks good though.  I would call any artwork good if it gives you a strong feeling when you look at it.  Regardless of what that feeling is.

like anybody remembers juxtapoz articles for more than a moth or two. (or like you get any money out of that)

and people have little to no discretionary income anymore, either.

it's probably one of the toughest times in history to make a living as an artist.
