The only post made myself is the first one to promote the brand, all the "shit talk" was never really done by me. but we at Civil do work as a team, if someone is talking shit to us or knocking. We do the same and defend right? I do agree with some of the things that were said, maybe they werent said in the best way...

  I would say i'm neither fat or ugly, the first picture was kind of a joke, goofy post. Everything is in the eye of the beholder. I definitely get my share of play, i'm not gonna brag about it. I've seen some of your guys pictures and myspaces and they arent too flattering either.

  Look we may have come of the wrong foot, obviously. But we only wanted to showcase our brand, because we believe it is legitimate, the designs are made well, and people from people in fashion, other skaters, and real deal artists have made positive comments on our line. A lot of us, have paid our dues skating, doing graffitti, bboying, and real shit. A lot of the "Streetwear" brands that you have mentioned , people there have never done any of that. We did want to show a brand that represented the true mentality of those really grinding for the culture.
     
   Although it may not be apparent to you guys, the DK logo is a parody, obviously everyone knows its a DK LOGO, were not trying to say the design was completely our design. But we have revamped it in a way to make it out own. In our industry, from a marketing perspective, that logo has a familiarity with the consumer, and we have twisted it to make it our own. There is a selling point behind all that.
   
   Our clothing is marked as a high end brand, from a business perspective, in order to sell and market to a particular audience, you need to keep a certain price point. I understand now that may not be for you.
   
   Remember, as I myself never really said those words, but I do agree with most of the things said. But seeing the other myspace pics of you guys, I dont really think your at a point to criticize my looks.

Your scenester brand is what it is. Overpriced merchandise. It's sorta like a slap in the consumers face. People will only buy what's affordable, or the essentials. I'd rather have a $30 sale deck then a brand new $30 t-shirt with a design on it.

As for shit talking on brands, people like what they like. I'm sure you'll find some Muska-wannabes who'll buy your shit because Factory 413 is way more expensive. But as for us, we have brands we're dedicated to; whether it's Matix, Volcom or Elwood. It's not really fair for a kook like you to lambaste the Thrasher Boards with this, especially since it's pretty rude to spam the boards. We don't care about Hollywood, maybe the Hollywood High set.

You also think that you need to pay "dues". Exactly what is your definition of dues? Vandalism? If that's you defintion of Hardcore, then you need a new Dictionary.
