thing is about battle at the berrics that is stupid is they put people at way different skill levels... whne you look at it, mike mo can do basicalyl every flat ground flip trick within the 360 realm, switch and regular. a couple other guys in the game were in the same boat, like mj, furby, pj ladd, marks, etc.  if you noticed though, billy would just go for pure dirty tricks he knew you wouldnt be able to pull, where as mike mo has a really solid strategy of wearign his opponents down through consistency. it would have been a more intense match if they didnt go for big names so much as people who rip flat ground but i think the big names are what drew people to watch it in the first place. that is why im saying an amateur version would be so much better.

i watched a game of skate for 160$ dollars on the under-attack tour in (underworld skate shop based out of MTL quebec in canada) between paul trepanier and mickey papa.... they did MORE tricks than the mike-mo vs. billy game and with way more consistency, there was literally only like 2 turns each and switch bigspin flips went down, and basically every inward heel and hardflip variation.

just sayin battle of the berrics has potential to be way better than its 1st incarnation.

as far as the battles go, they did let a couple random dudes in there for the redemption bracket and that one no name dude did decent. they need to get rodney and daewon in there...

rodney might be interesting to see, although i dont recall him ever doing a switch flip, im sure he can do them. ive seen him do fs crooked grind hardflip out so i really dont think there is much he cant do. daewon is just a beast though.

also, i didn't pay 160$ dollars to see a game of skate. that is what the winner won and i was just saying that is chump change compared to what they gave out for batb and the match was way crazier.
