Vans downtown showdown, there's a contest for ya.

but since vans is a huge corporation owned by vanity fair, doesn't that mean it is also selling out to skate that? or even for a hardcore purist to watch it?

I have also had impure thoughts. despite wearing nothing but skate shoes since the mid-nineties I have to admit that some of those 'das are looking pretty nice. especially the campus vulcs.   

but of course, through their immense influence on skate shoe design, I've already been wearing variations of the campus for years.

I must consult the oracle at once.

I predict Busenitz and Alex Olsen will win the contest hands down(like the last one) but due to boners over robots like Sheckler and P-rod....the natural order of skating will continue on.....and real skating will be left to those like Dennis and Alex.
