If you say you believe in evolution, you don't know enough about it. Evolution is a model that fits really, really well with everything we know about biology. Without evolution we'd just be taking shots in the dark about what the fuck is going on around us. By just saying, "god created everything" You're not gaining any incite, you're just stopping the conversation. It's the same thing that happened with other sciences. Geology for example, it was thought that all the features around us were all created by Noah's flood. By leaving it at that nothing was really understood about geology and some guy named Hutton had to come along and piss off a lot of religious types by saying the earth is old as hell and a giant flood doesn't explain it.
I don't get the whole science vs. religion debate. Both subjects have their place and neither one is with the other.

similar to the whole 'the earth is flat' debate

science is good, and 'religion' is SOMETIMES good, but in their proper places

I was playing COD:WOW & I told this one guy to stop being a little bitch. Well, I wasn't aware that this douche lived down the street and he busted into my friend's place & pulled a gun on us. The fucker didn't realize that he was outnumbered so we took his gun & threw his ass out.

i know i am a couple day late on this but what has always confused me is the lack of attempts most chrisitians have made to fit the evolution theory into their story. is it not possible that adam and eve were single celled organisms and that most stories were not told literally but more metophorically and that the big bang was god's doing and that 7 days were not 7 literal 24 hour periods? it would make more sense then just denying evolution.

Well in my opinion the truth is somewhere in between. I think something (or if you prefer god) created the universe out of the big bang. After that IT let everything happen without interfering. I dont know what IT really is or why did IT create the universe.

This seems really  logical to me ,yet vague, but what i really want to point out is that if really there is god he prolly doesnt give a fuck about anything he just created universe and left it evolve. So religions are useless to me because i believe god is not interefering in our lives.

If u were wise as a god may be would you really give a fuck about people worshiping you?

So we have 5billion gods?

Is it really so hard to believe?

A copy in every man, woman, and child in the Googleweb. That sounds exactly like the thinking of a machine to me.

Religion is definitely a necessity if you're a scared little bitch about dying.  Viva scientific theory!

lots of Christians would end up confessing that they aren't true 'christians' given the correct set of questions.

most would say 'yeah, i believe the bible'... and they go to church every so often but dont know what the hell it is that they side with.

it's not 'heathenistic' to work science into Christianity, it just scares people because they aren't smart enough/haven't done enough biblical OR scientific research to argue with anyone who thinks different than them, so they stick with name calling and 'blasphemy' claims.
