Along with making money they would also sponsor events Im sure. But we both know that Bank of America and AIG(who the hell would want to ride for the mess) can't even be considered to prove a point with what you are trying to say.

i think the point that both of them are trying to make is that no matter who sponsors who, skateboarding is still going to be skateboarding. what are you worried about? how is a corporate sponsorship going to change the way you skateboard? skateboarding has not been taken over by capitalism, but capitalism does run any industry in the u.s., thus the skateboard industry is completely run by capitalism...always has been, always will.
