I quit skateboarding for 3 years when i was 15 after an injury. I stepped back on board when i became 18  and in one month i was better than i was in my 15s.

and preferably, they should push with their front foot, never got faster than 2mph, and start working on their "sponcer me" videos.

(btw-ever notice that about 90% of kids today can't spell sponsor, and almost every single one of them spells it with a "C?" what the fuck is up with that?)

I saw some kid working on a fakie big flip, pushing mongo, rolling at a mile an hour, and landing an inch away from the damn ledge while his friend was filming him for the whole duration I was at this park yesterday.

And my sunburn says that it was probably about 5 hours too...

I am indeed. Was it the sunburn, suggesting my pale base of skin tone that gave it away?

No way, midwestern winter tans are the new hottness, so that suggests nothing.  "Lurk nasty" style is popular here...and for some reason in Vegas, too?

mm.  Yeah, I'm from Flint.  I hoped that style was only predominant in Mi, but I saw it out in Vegas, too.  However, Texas is full of rippers.  Everyone I came in contact with there did everything stupid fast and big.  Good shit.
