exactly, but this is mostly only done in the u.s. for some reason. natural/raw sugar is fine though.

What's not vegan about beer? It's barley, hops, malt, yeast and water (sometimes a bunch of other stuff too, i know.). Can't drink the microorganisms that make up yeast or something?

On that note, do vegans eat mushrooms?

some beer isn't vegan though a lot of it is. i don't drink beer so i am not exactly sure though. my girl drinks miller lite and coors lite sometimes so i know those are. i know guiness isn't since i think beef is used to flavor it or something.

yeast is fine, mushrooms are fine...just ate some last night (not the tripping kind, though those are fine if they are your thing).
