@ttching. there's a bunch of kids that live on my new block and they have been hanging around, asking questions, saying some pretty funny shit. they are around 8 years old. "my dads name is ken. he got drunk last night." hilarious.

Yeah, that age is funny too.  Near my apt. there is a park/playground with a concrete baseball diamond and basketball courts which is pretty good for flatground.  This little hood kid was trying to give me a hard time for being an adult and not a pro, then tried to tell me that the dudes playing ball there were all in the NBA.

My little one watched me skate for a minute this weekend, and she's a great little cheerleader.  'Do it again Daddy! Do another one Daddy! Watch out mama, Daddy goin!'

Got home today around 10am from Myrtle Beach. Super fun trip. Spent last night dozing off and waking up to the sound of rumble strips on the side of the road because my friend who was driving had the same idea. Glad to be home though, the humidity down south is on another level.

Today some new Ender boards we're dropped off on my doorstep via the elves.

I brought the boxes inside and was really stoked on the way the boards came out. So I scooped up about 8 of them under my arm to take to Triumph, and right when I step out the door-- I look down, and NOW there's a package on my porch from the Post Office!

I open it to find each pattern of Alchemy griptape, samples of the new Stardust and Sphinx 'regular' ( non die cut ) sheets, and a XXL Alchemy Tee screen printed over a Southpole shirt in the classic Mines Recycled/Thrift Store Couture fashion...

It was like Christmas at the Scrimm residence today!

^ Graveyard Shifts fuck with my mind membrane.

I've had an up and down couple of weeks lately, people getting hurt, people getting paid, people dieing, and people living.

Here's my weekend in Instagram form

Skated new spots

Made some magnets

Made a hole in one

Went to an art show

Went to a rad movie premier

Had some drunk food

Visited Artie after his accident

Went to a Homies Memorial... I have not too many insta's after that... it was kinda a blur. Even the the next days skate adventure

DOGZ!!!

I've been detoxing so not too many post lately, I'll go back on the detox in a couple of weeks for a month, so it's been nice knowing you...

A lot of fund raisers coming my way... Ernie is unconscious from a downhill bail, Ricky is unconscious from a Vespa accident. Artie got burned blowing glass, and Tommy died in a car accident. Hold all of your friends and family close and do good by them.

If anyone has some art, or product to donate in some auctions, hit me up and I will let the fund raisers know.

This dude's story...

RJ Boston Graffiti Bomber...skating and tagging:

There were a bunch of us that would skate around all over the city. As we’d skate around we’d cut through alleyways and catch tags and scope stuff out for that night. It was a good disguise for being places we weren’t supposed to be. We were skating down the street and a car swerved right at my friends skating behind me and the kids I was skating with. As he passed us we whacked his car with the boards. He slammed on the brakes and got out and started chasing one of us down. As he was running down Boylston Street on this bright sunny day at 2 o’clock in the afternoon in the middle of summer with all these people around. He just chased the first person he made eye contact with. One of my friends stuck his foot out and tripped him. Dude fell flat on his chest. He was a big beefy dude. He grabbed a different kid and started beating him down on the ground. Three more of us started beating him with boards to get him off and it wasn’t even affecting the guy. Someone smashed out one of the windows on his car. The next thing you knew there were five guys around the car destroying his car in the middle of the street. Traffic is stopped going both ways. There must have been a crowd of at least a hundred people watching this too. We smashed the shit out of the car. It was un-drivable. The doors were all smashed. Every window in the car was smashed, all the mirrors, the lights. The doors were wide open. It looked like a bomb went off in it. He got up after that and was looking around. It was complete chaos. A few people got arrested because they stuck around to see what was going to happen. They actually had nothing to do with it. People just started pointing fingers. Anybody that got pointed at got arrested. The case got thrown out because the guy was actually a maniac himself. He had open cases for biting someone’s ear off or something ridiculous like that.

Haven't checked in for a while, lots of shit going on.  After 9 1/2 years with my company I was laid off (on my birthday no less).  Why am I posting in the stoked thread?  I get severance pay until March next year!  Gotta take the good with the bad.... damn, its crazy the curveballs that life throws at you.... buy a home, turn 30 and lose job  Tongue

dtotherob, congrats on the house and job!  Hopefully I'll have good luck in the job search myself.  In the meantime I'm enjoying the paid time off, first time I've been without a job in a looooooong time!
