It's funny you, and one other mentioned the fire.  I was there by myself with a huge box of letters and thank you cards and origami and things students have given me over the past several years.  I'm going to be moving soon, and although it makes me sound like a cold bastard, I can't take all that stuff with me.  Also had some Japanese textbooks I'd been using that I won't use again ( I recently  passed the highest exam).  Sat there by the fire and started burning all that stuff.  When I decided to make the little test clip, I tried to get the smoke of the fire in the shot.

Finished putting together a clip from a couple weeks ago - a little bit too long actually... But I''ve got one problem.  How do you put music to your videos?  killthegnar? 

I tried to do it with Windows Movie Maker, but it says you need the proper codec.  Done on youtube it takes out all of the sound of the video, which makes it less interesting. 

Any tips?  Thanks.

Valentine's day skate at our DIY mini-park in Tahara, Aichi, Japan.  Me and my bro shogen skating and filming, with some filming by macchan.  Sorry it's a bit long. 

Nothing great, but had fun doing it.  Will make the next one better.  Might do one of the kids that skate there next.

If your using movie maker, then go towards the bottom and theres a button that says show timeline. click that and it will show you a spot to put in an audio track. then go to the top left side of the screen and theres a button that says import audio or music (under "1. Capture Video). then it will open a window that shows all your files, and click a song and open it. Then an audio file will be with your video files, then just drag it into the part on the bottom that says Audio/Music. then you should be all good
