Actually you have it backwards, the bushings are too hard and don't allow for some loose trucks. You can either call the warranty line and get some free soft ones or replace them with bones soft ones.
Really?
The bushings I have are so soft I can squish em with my fingers
It might be that all the bushings i've used were REALLY hard

Don't different sizes have different bushings?
All I know is that I bought a pair with black bushings and orange bushings, and the new series comes with red bushings. I'm sure they are different hardness?

Buy new indys.  Immediately throw out the bushings, and put in bones.  Mediums.  That's the way I always do it.

You're a lot smaller than me, so do the same, with soft ones.

Idk if different colors means different hardness.
To me,the bushings are kinda soft on Indys, then again,I weigh 170 pounds.

what exactly do you guys not like about Indy bushings? I skate mine loose enough that the 'softness' of a bushing really doesn't matter, only the truck geometry and my skill/lack thereof.

if it's about them shredding up, does that REALLY make a difference or is it an aesthetics thing?

As far as I know it's just a cosmetic problem. I had shredding bushing for the longest time and rode really loose trucks so they didn't exactly crunch or anything weird.

I cut the orange indy bushings. Just take like 1/16th of an inch off the bottom so they ride a lot looser, but their hard enough they don't get blown out by being too loose with a fatass dude on top of them.

Yeah Indy bushings suck.  They blow out really easily.  But it doesn't really matter, I just get a tightness I like dialed within the first one or two sessions and the ride em' till' the back one breaks!
