Am I the only person who thinks stuff like this should actually be in the magazine?

It's pretty cool, but I'm not so sure the advertisers would be too stoked.

do you really think ad sales would remain unchanged if that happened?

I'm surprised that'd be of concern to you. Anyway, I see articles of this nature quite often in magazines related to other industries... especially firearms.

Also, anyone can just edit out what they're not interested or even afraid to run in the magazine while keeping the other useful information intact.

 Huh?

Apparantly you didn't understand the past couple messages.  It has nothing to do with whether or not it is of any concern to bailgun.  Mags get money by running ads.  The companies wouldn't be happy if the magazine explains how to not use their products.

Oh I understood Bailgun's message. I was just expressing my opinion regardless of its impact on business. I also think that naked tits should be in the magazine. Would that warrant a reply regarding if I thought it would result in losing readership from younger viewers because their mothers wouldn't approve? Haha!

I honestly don't see the difference in publishing an article that would be like this and one on how to make your own shoes. Chances are a massive majority of the readers wouldn't even try it, despite any interest in this particular content. And if anything, I actually got the "don't bother" vibe from the whole thing for anyone thinking of trying to make boards beyond a personal hobby.

Quote from: The Article
Still wanna do it? Find a sales rep already workin in the industry - but good luck convincing them to rep your product.

I mean really, that's almost like saying you can go to Hollywood and become a movie actor if you find a good agent.

Anyway, I was just more or less expressing my interest to see something that regards other aspects of skateboarding beyond "who-rides-for-what" or "who-did-this-trick-at-that-spot". Though I'm sure all has been said and done in terms of writing, so might as well just focus on the tricks/interviews/tours and whatever else is still current.

I just stared making cast molds for my on trucks, I know how to cast urethane too. The day will come where the board I ride will be built entirely by me... except the hardware and bearings. It's just a matter of doing it, the technology is ancient, any 12 year old could do this.
