I went to the skatepark in the morning on a school day like at 8. I had the whole place to myself to try any dumb trick I want. It was so fun. Did a butt slide into the Big Boy pool and attempted to carve and stuff.
Super fun!

... One of these days, I'll get there

Stoked this weekend 'cause I got to skate that birdbath bowl thing again with one of my top 5 favorite skaters. Later that night got smashed at a birthday party and drunkenly rode my skateboard home, on a slight downhill, for 6 miles... so fun

^That channel is burly! 36 feet wide?... gnarly!

Out of a handful of cars that have crashed into my favorite skate park, I finally saw this one when it happened

There was about a hundred kids and I'd hadn't had one good run all day, once the car slid over the Jersey barrier and into the fence the whole park ran to see what was going on; I had about 10 minutes to myself of clear park on a Saturday... so stoked. Heard the first thing the driver did was jump out of his car and pour out a bottle of vodka.

The roll in/channel brings back memories of a ramp in Janesville MN, it was between 12-14 ft high and 24 ft wide with the roll in another 3 feet or so higher. It was the first half pipe I ever skated. So I climb up on the roll in and the old dude(26) that owned the ramp said I'd better try it with his board as my trucks were to loose. He hands me his McGill; the one with the fighter jet graphics and next thing I know I was laid out on the flat. I nailed it next time with my Grigley Hippie Stick. Needles to say looking at pics of the ramp you skated is getting me psyched. Looks like a rippin good time.

A bunch of spots, each with their own special types of people getting in the way.

Two weeks ago I was at a skatepark and a guy on a motorcycle crashed into a barrier beside the park going fast and got wrecked. He was running from the cops and there was even a police helicopter and everything. There were probably thirty people at the park, but I was the only one to see the whole crash, and it was gnarly. He got up pretty quick and threw his license plate into the bushes, but he looked pretty hurt. Then he had to sit in handcuffs for awhile before an ambulance came.

Anyways, same thing. Park to myself for a good 10 or 15 minutes.

Mostly my drive way. it has a slope at the end of it and is slanted. Pefect to just skate around and do basic tricks like ollies, nollies, pivots, manuals, reverts, and powerslides. I also found out you can do powerslides in my cluttered kitchen and when the floor is slick you can get huge pop. I fel down 3 different times.
