i picked it up about a week ago. appelo's part was way better than i thought it was going to be. he is way better than the photos in the mags make him out to be.

well my best friend and his family came over for a short visit.  he hasn't seen the video yet and our wives were not having any of it, so i let him take it. 

now i'm really stoked to see it again. i stopped it at the BAKU section.

Sorry to resurrect an ancient thread but, is it worth it to go with the $29 deluxe version that includes "Bloodshed" and the R rating?

I am not too worried about the extra ten bucks but I am swinging by my shop this weekend and I think the only one they have in stock is the standard version.  If I have to special order the deluxe version I'll miss out on the whole immediate gratification bit but I suppose I'll do it if it's worth the wait.

My shop actually had the deluxe edition so it worked out.  After watching it my opnion is that the whole thing fucking rips and it's non-stop skating.  With that said, I don't know if I would fork out the extrra ten bucks for the deluxe edition if I had it to do again.  The extras were entertaining but I can't really see myself watching them repeatedly like I will the main disc with all the skating.  I suppose I prefer the style that I think Anti-Hero and the KOTR videos nail where they mix in goofy shit with the skating for a breather every now and again.  I also don't know where the R-Rating comes from other than the Blood Shed gore.  Rob Zombie would be proud but more fun bags would have been appreciated.

Overall the skating makes for a solid DVD worth owning I just don't know about all the bonus shit be worth $10.
