How long do boards last for you?

It's really great to hear you give boards to kids with worn out ones. I gave my entire board to my little cousins that have no money,and they play with the board all the time. It's nice to give the gift of skateboarding to kids that don't have much.

It still rains here in the U.S. It's not like all sun and shit all over California,where I live it's pretty much the same as the U.K., same latitude line. Plus ,sadly,a lot of people will most likely make fun of your accent.

Well it depends! If i skate everyday usually a board lasts around 3-4 weeks if i dont up to 2 months i think.

I try not to skate high gaps or spots with fucked ground the first two weeks as i cant afford it. I only throw away my boards when they get broken and when the nose or tail are missing big chunks of wood. The pop thing really doesnt bother me ase you get to lose it gradually so you adapt every day. I focus my board when it has a crack because one day i was skating a bowl and the cracked board snapped in two pieces i almost broke my arm on this one, so if the crack is a serious one i break the board so that i am not tempted to skate it.

some sweet ideas.  i also give away my old decks/gear. which are usually in pretty good shape still.  i leave them in my trunk so i can give 'em away at the park. 

i have been known to be "that guy" who will focus a board or throw it.

Same here, I have used decks in the trunk  to give away or in case my board breaks.  And yes, if I've had a bad day I will focus the shit out of my board!!

I think we've all been guilty at some point. The worst is when it's the kids that always have new shoes, new boards, jeans that cost more than my whole setup... You know, the same crowd who never realize that landing simple tricks w/ style is WAY better than throwing up some shit that everyone in the park knows they'll never land. Then they get mad (embarrassed actually, but getting mad looks credible), smash their board, start a forum thread about going through a board a week, etc.
