I'm guessing $200 in Japan.

I've seen shots of indys sparking, is it really such a big deal?  Will they spark every time?

Sparking trucks will not influence my decision to purchase these trucks... but it would be fun to pour a little gasoline onto a handrail and then grind it to see what happens.
