thanks one and bailgun for comments that is actually relevant and makes sense ..

We have plenty of mini ramps and good concrete skateparks in Johannesburg, but the only decent vert ramp in South Africa is currently in Durban which is a 7 hour drive one way.

The dimensions we hope will be fine. At this stage it makes construction also a lot simpler. We hope this will be a good size to progress an learn… we are not pros yet Smiley

And vert is dead because people don’t know how to skate vert and also scared of the hight. I had lot more injuries from street and small ramp skating than vert. If you try vert you might find you can’t stop !! but I suppose some people just like to follow the crowd and do what is currently in fashion ..

Looking forward to additional responses on the design.

Vert is fun man. Its a little freaky the first couple of times you drop in, but once you get into it, the possibilities are endless. Try it some time man, street isnt the only option out there...

Is pool skating dead in your opinion then too??
