Whats the best skate spot in your area?

theres this drainage ditch down the street from my house and its awesome. Its about 5 ft deep in the deep part and almost vert. whats cool is its in my somewhat small city and only like 7 people know about it. the only thing is its only good for skating in the summer/ early fall because of rain cuz the deep part will have a little stream coming from the neighbors pipe..

I've enjoyed my time at Bottineau Park in North Minneapolis.  It's a little concrete park that always has some cool younger kids who don't mind sharing time with the dinosaur, here.  (I went there once with these GIANT wheels and I couldn't drop properly.  I'm sure someone else could but I couldn't.  Anyway, this kid asked me if I was scared to drop in on this tiny little ramp because I was looking like a grade a moron.  He was nice about it but I sure felt like a jerk.)

Finding spots is hard for me because I have little time to explore.  Usually, I end up having a specific destination, if I'm out on the streets.  This leads to just scootin' along without any real time to investigate any promising leads.  Plus, I'm really no good, which means my imagination can be lacking when it comes to eyeballing municipal property and whatnot.

Madison, however, had a shit ton of cool places and I was only there for the weekend!  I guess my timetable changes when I don't have to do the day job.
