The first shoes I skated were Adidas shelltoes. The first actual skateshoes I owned were Vans, I think they were halfcabs, or something similar.

My first skate shoes were the DC Cyphers, remember the ones with the urban camo? Those things ruled.

Vans No Skool.

my first pair of skate shoes were those Andy Mac ones you get at payless for like 15 bucks... totally rad.
now reflecting on it, fuck that guy.

the first skate shoes was a pair of DCs because they didnt have any vans but vans are my favorite

First shoes I ever skated in were good old Chuck Taylors.  First pair of real live you betcha skate shoes were the Vision Street Wear suede with the rubber toe cap/ollie patches (I miss those shoes!).  After that it was Airwalk city for a LONG time until the other companies started up.
