Rode spits for a few months.  Dug them til they flatspotted.  Tried Rictas.  They sucked arse.  Gave them to a kid. On bones now, love em, more than the spits.

Hey Susej, since you live in Japan I got a question for you. I was hearing that Jivaro is getting big over there. Do you know of any shops over there that carry them, or people who ride them? It trips me out thinking about people over there riding those wheels.

I've never seen them in shops, and I know one dude who rides them.  But I could look into it a bit more...

i've been riding prize fighter wheels for the last 3 years and have been loving them. disclaimer: i am homies with the dude that runs it and get them super cheap, but still...i wouldn't ride them if i didn't dig them. i hate swapping wheels out and they are a very important part of your skateboard. before that i was riding autobahn's, which were just as good. i used to only ride spits (up until maybe 7 years ago) and flatspotted every set.

ill ride both, spitfires or bones. it doesnt really matter to me. just as long as they are 56mm or bigger. right now i have some hosoi rockets 58mm's that are pretty sick. i was told they use the same formula as the newer bones wheels.

I had bones for 2 days. I tried a bs heel on flatground at a slightly shitty spot, with rough ground, but nothing too bad. I pulled the trick back at about 90° and reverted a bit of the way. I managed to tear a chunk out of the wheel. I've heard loads of good stuff about them, but seriously, out of the two I'd pick spits. Maybe I just got a bad set or something, but 2 days of mellow skating should not hurl a wheel through the shredder...

dude i never had bones but spitfires work just fine. either way, they both roll and id say their the top two wheel brands so, fuck it, either works.

been riding spits for years, but i got tired of all the wear n tear bs. so i decided to try bones, and i love em. they slipout sometimes, but reverts have improved along with powersliding. and rolling feels better, even with 55 mm.

I really liked the 1 set of 56mm Parkburners I rode but I'm also a huge fan of the Bones SPF's 58's so I guess my point is who gives a shit what other people ride?  Try them both and make up your own goddamn mind and GET OFF MY LAWN YOU KIDS!

I've had 4 sets of Spits and three of them are F1 Streetburners and one set is classics. The classics rode nice but flatspotted in about 2 weeks or so. Streetburners were great loved them, lasted 3 months. I've had 2 sets of bones and i am yet to flatspot a set, the only reason i changed is because went from riding 54's to riding 52's but one was SPF and one was STF. I'm Currently riding Bone 52 Hoffart STF's and love them
