too many pro's.... If the older seasoned pro's can't keep up  with the Am's willing to kill themselves, they should get the boot and let the young bucks kill it.
Like Phelps said in Volcom's Chicagof, Am's have a 2-3 year window to get good or eat chowder.

I think it's going to happen for Kowalski this year.  He's freakishly talented, and he gets himself out there more than enough.

I think Taylor Bingaman, Devin Appello and Raven Tershay are on a great track and they're definitely earning it.  I see it happening for them within the next couple of years.

I'd bet the fucking farm that Theotis gets a board within the next 12 months.  Nobody has a bad ting to say about him and he's on Baker and they seem to be very generous with turning their AM's pro.

I like Baca a lot, he's gnarly, but when you see guys like Grant Talylor and his caliber of skater turning pro it makes me feel like Baca needed to earn it more.

That's just my stupid opinion.

the reason AMs are going bigger than pros is because they are AM. they need to step it up to prove they are worthy of being pro. its dumb that pros are able to relax a little once they become pro, but thats kinda they way it is. its not always true, but its pretty common.


kowalski needs to be pro ASAP. he is a machine.

I just think people who skate for a living should be paid better in general. A ton of 'em have to work and skate as hard as possible. If going pro means they get to quit their day jobs, then I say more pros. If going pro means a company rakes in some cash on a name and doesn't help out their rider, then I say less pros.

pfanner kills it - his footage from the beauty/beast 2 vid + pfridays with pfanner + the ads from vans and that gigantic bs 180.  I don't see how he can stay an am much longer
