Didn't think I was ragging.  Gave my honest opinion.  Paying $13 when I can get free grip and my board is going to break within 2 weeks anyway, it makes no sense.

brings up a good question... I dont break boards ever. Mine might last me like 2 months. how long does your grip last before it wears out and/or feels like jessup?

My apolgies Susej - That was juvenile. I am sorry. Price is and will always be a decision maker, and I can respect your stance. If you are breaking boards every two weeks, you should be getting flow from someone... Hmmm.

KTG -That is a good question. Our grip uses a very unique adhesive process to bind the "grit" to the middle layer, we had to protect from shedding much more than other manufacturers - because of the nature of the design(s). Many edges and corners create much more opportunity for shedding to take place. We are quite proud of the result. Minimal shedding may occur, on the rail edge over the concave on steep concave boards is the only noticeable place as of today. I'll take some close up pics to help illustrate.

Hope all is well with you all. thanks everyone -

I go through my boards slow too, a couple months at least. the guys at the shop set one up every week or two and give the old man a hard time about my set ups. I get my grip for free but its that Jessup crap. As much as I had never heard of these new griptapes till recent ( Paradox, Alchemy ) The pattern Paris is rocking makes sense to me for the angles your feet slide across the board-- but whats up with the texture?  Is it corrugated? are the sides of my feet going to go bu-bu-bu-bu-bu up the board? maybe a high res close up IS in order.

I can respect the way you replied.  Admittedly, it was a harsh way for me to say it, but that's how I feel.

2 weeks is good for me lately, but I'm not gonna be getting flow from anybody.  I'm just a bigger guy who skates a lot and tends to stomp his landings too hard.

i used jessup for a while, but a bad batch turned me a way from it for quite some time.tried Mob.fuck Mob.went back to jessup.then my local shop started carrying Paradox, which is worth the 5$
also, i got some grip from a bike shop by my house(when i lived in Arkansas) , which sold skateboards( the real skateshop was 60 miles away), it was called Black Diamond i believe, i wasnt to stoked at first, but i ended up loving it.

i like jessup. i never had a problem with it. but then again, grip isn't a big deal to me. even the worst grip is sufficient. i just don't like how mob creases if you mess up putting it on, but once it is on, it is fine. jessup is cheap and never gives me any issues so i usually get rolls of that.

I had a bad experience a long time ago with Jessup-- I dont know if I kept running into bad rolls but it would peel up really easy--like right off the board. I hated it. We had some shop grip that was twice as thick as regular and shaved my thumb off on backside grabs. I rocked that for a while and then the guys were swearing by Jessup. I tried it again and liked it enough I guess I shouldnt call it crap since it didnt peel up like it used to, but I do notice ( since my set ups tend to stick around ) after a while, It loses it's grip and my feet are kinda sliding around on it.

I use Jessup exclusively. That way I have something to blame when I'm not landing tricks. W/ this in mind, I cannot use your non-griptape-that-looks-suspiciously-like-griptape.
