Hey thanks! That's the one.

I had a couple of those, before everslick and tiny wheels though.

Heh, thanks for the good links, I'm putting some time in tonight. Also, good pics, cannot beat a 90's nostalgia-fest when all else fails.

My buddy gave me the SMA and I found the Variflex on morning skating home from an all night bender.
I might round up a chunk of the quiver and snap a few shots later tonight.

/\ i had both of those!  and that Templeton pic is epic.  to me, it represents everything from that era. big pants, small wheels, useless wooden toys.

Nice C H U C K!
I rode SMA boards from '85 on. Me an Skip became pals a ways back, I don't ride for them or anything but he posts a couple pics of me skating to the website and sends me out boards here and there-- I'm honored to be a part of the SMA fam-- it's awesome! anyways here's some from my quiver:

These are some I rode back in the day.

I bought this from GoSkate, depite many takers, they held it for me until I got there. SMA had just switched to Santa Cruz, this was the last one with original SMA wood & it was in high demand. To show my appreciation I also bought A Schmitt Stix Chris Miller ( yes, the dog cat ) and the Jesse Martinez you see above. I had the foresight to never set this up. It's my holy grail.

Santa Cruz Roskopp Melting Face

Zorlac - Murf

Santa Cruz - Salba

Powel Peralta - Mountain

H-Street - Ron Allen

And I had to throw, I think it was probably my 3rd or 4th snowboard in there too.
A Barfoot circa 88?

I was pretty rough on my boards back then. I actually thought the Mountain was in good shape. Only problem was the grip tape came off skating the Cannon Falls ditch.
