Just go to Burnside with a halfrack and give them all out and you'll be greeted with open arms man.  and a joint or two wouldn't hurt your cause either.  then go eat at the montage and get shit talked by the wait staff. welcome to Portland motherdickers

The banks needs more stuff, there needs to be a legit concrete park in new york city, like some bowls and shit. Especially since all the legit bowls/mini ramps are for 16/18+ and cost money to skate. I'm pretty sure there are backyard pools to skate all around suburban New York, just can't find any Sad.

there is owl's head in bay ridge, brooklyn. concrete bowls and free, but like all nyc skateparks, closed half the year.

we found a pool in queens. it is pretty much a bust though.

it isn't that easy. we have once, but the thing is that it is at an apartment building and needs to be bailed out before you can skate it each time. by the time you are done bailing it, the super or porter of the building will already have noticed...so you would do all the work for nothing.

late night stealth mission?

even worse. it is right out the windows of the building. it will wake people up with the quickness and the cops will be called. the best time is during the middle of a work day...too bad i usually work then.

for a nominal fee, myself and a couple of my friends can be brought in to insure your mission's security from outside forces that may try to impede you.

Actually it's not WSVT vs. Bside or any other D.I.Y. etc. park we are in this together Brothers making shit happen just in different states.. Our vibes and parks are different but like skateboarding we have something in common that a regular official city park does not.

FDR was before WSVT i remember calling it Philly Side with everyone else at Burnside & in the mags for a min. but we were not knockin it, most thought it was tight that there was another bridge park.

Now there is more than ever, stoked I skate Burnside & Marginal Way all the time, I also enjoy my visits & skateboarding at Washington St. ,San Pedro & Boardertown they are all really fun & the scenes are great from a Burnsiders & skateboarders point of view.  I think a lot of people from the Northwest actually moved to SD (some stayed) and others that have visited the NW helped work on Washington St. ,,too many to name...
YEp Washington St. is bigger & some parts of the park are of a High challenging callibur, so are parts of all the parks.  Depends I guess What your Really talking about, is it Skateboarding? or people getting Beat up? Or having the most people or pros visit the park? How about the most famous or well known, what about the most appreciated or underappreciated? The Dryest? Best/Worst most challenging weather? Who has the best BBQ or the most bird shit? The most history. Most Chicks? Most do-able chicks? What about the cleanest dirtyest shitters? Most Rats.  Most busy day to day? Best Sessions? Most Broken Bones, ambulance visits.  Best Beer, Free Beer, Best Trees.  Which has a titty bar with no cover close by.  Toughest to skate? Funnest to skate? Best to hang out at? Best anniversary party? Best SkateRock Bands? Maby the Best Locals only vibe.
But really which of those makes one win over the other?  Its all a matter of opinion.  One thing is for sure reguardless, we are a family of bridge parks in Our Own League, that skateboarders took a stand & Stood UP to beat the odds, overcoming tough stuff like money, city kooks, gangs, drugs and all the like.

As far as my artwork getting painted over at wsvt. it also gets painted over at Burnside & Marginal Way too (usually over time), that is not the limit of places I paint, I just enjoy to skateboard & have a talent(I share) (my goal)hopefully to make our parks look good!  Not everyone likes everything I do & they let me know, trust me.. I respect that & opinions but their are others that do encourage me to paint.  When I paint I donate my money, time & supplies & I skateboard that makes me a winner in my book.  If you think about it, "its what you can do for your skatepark & skateboarding, not what they can do for you!"

Hip Hop artwork is usually something I paint outside of skateboarding/skatepark artwork.  So you prob. wont see that bullshit at burnside, or other skateparks, although its not out of the question.  If you have seen the diverse art I create you might understand that spraypaint is just a medium people use and it does not dictate their content.
Now correct me if I'm wrong. The skull I painted last year at WSVT had too much HIPHOP style, with a trowel in his hand breaking through the wall ? I personally think that is about as D.I.Y. as it gets, maby it was actually too PUNKROCK for the person who buffed it, to deal with.  This year I painted O.G. Locals Pitbull "Scout" on the wall, I think that it's ironic that the spitfire wheel graphic for WSVT is Pitbulls too, don't you?  (I thought a Pit was perfect idea off the top of my head on the spot, & so did the LOCs)  I also get permission, & consult with the Locals & skateboarders taking them & their spot into consideration before painting anything anywhere.   Trust me, I felt priviledged to paint at Washinton St. the past 2 years and I still do feel that about Burnside I'm stoked just to be a part of the shit & be able to hang out & skate or visit BBQ etc..
My name is synonamous with skatepark art, consistent every year for over 16 years painting at skateparks, spots, shops & walls etc. for the Love of IT! I also listen to all kinds of music from Afrika Bambatta to Misfits from KRS1 to the Late Greats J. Cash & Bob Marley step into the pit Toxic Waltz, DRI, Testament? GRindLine the Band, Just saw Creepy Creeps in SD in Jan. SICK.. Come on mahn, Slayer bro..
