Is the Biggie a concaved double kick?  And what sized aluminum trucks, if they are aluminum, are you using?

Osprey Skateboard

Waves & Lightning in Sky

Specifications

31" x 8" Deck.

Made from Maple Ply.

Double kick concaved shape.

Black grip tape.

54mm printed PVC wheels.

608Z bearings.

5" Seagull aluminium trucks.

Sounds like the new Valterra or Nash. I wouldn't recommend it.

Yeah, I woulnd not recomend Osprey either. But you are a beginner. You need something just to practice and learn the basics on. Right now it doesn't matter if you have an Osprey or an Anti-hero. Later on when you get better you will need a better board. But I don't think you will notice much difference now. Save your money and buy some skate videos: Lakai Fully Flared, Alien Workshop Mindfield, Baker 3.

uggg. quote box woes. i don't remember what i wrote with the above quote. evs.

well to go with the new spits, i retired the biggie today and packed up a Naysayer rick rollin' for the trip. easy packing with the trucks off and i get to set it up when i arrive. i also brought a spare shop board that i'm hoping to trade with at a local shop there. one board is concaved double kicked and the other is convexed double kick. i mix them up because it depends which way you hold them.

All of the boards I ride are convex. You think I might be doing something wrong? And it seems like such a shame to cover up all of the graphics that are on top of the deck with griptape. And I wont get started on the size of risers I have to use.
