Just picked up some 139 Stage 10 Indys and shiiiiit!  Sooo nice.  I came from these old ass Gullwings with rounded baseplates, and just dealt with them, then stopped skating for years.  Now when I restarted, I put the old Gulls on my new Krooked and the turns were just ugly, so I went and bought the indys and the turns are so smooth and deep, it's amazing.  I wish I stuck with indys back then....

Fuck yeah dude!  Nice board!  And kudos for skating a limited deck, too.  I had the original Blind version, same shape.  Such a rad board.

my cruiser/rain setup is a limited krooked shogo kubo guest board. number 13 of 250. its all chipped and haggard. i love it when dudes try to lecture me about why i shouldn't ride it, "because it would have been worth money some day." fuck that-its worth about $50, it's a fun shape, and i want to skate it. if anything, those kooks should be happy, since i'm helping make them more rare, and helping them capatilaize more when they decide to pull their stash out from under the bed and ebay it.

I concur.  I've had 5 or 6 "limited" Krooked boards and I've skated every once of them right away.  I try to avoid breaking any board, but sometimes shit happens.  I just fiend a funny shape once in a while.  Popsicle sticks get quite old.  It's fun to something different under your feet.

anything from 8 to 8.5 ONE skateboards deck
139 Indys, however, i replaced the shitty orange bushings with the soft lucky keg bushings and cut em in half so i got loose as shit trucks
60mm bones skatepark formula wheels
reds bearings, even though i usually try to go for the swiss comps.

i cant believe theres so many people riding small wheels in here! guess im the only east coast guy here? or the only fdr guy i guess i should say?

No, the guys who ride big wheels on here are the guys who don't post in materialistic threads like these, and shoe threads. Trust that your not the only one.

The guys who ride big wheels on here are from the midwest, east coast and north west. People in the south are pussies who just won't skate a spot if theres a little crack on it. And shoe threads aren't materialistic things, I know tons of people who've been around since the 80's/70's that know a shitload of skate shoe history. Skate shoes do have a significant history in skateboarding.

It's funny; Indy Trucks; best trucks, worst bushings ever.  I mean I still ride them, the best ones I go were the white ones from the reynolds 139s.  They seem different.  But yeah, that shit always blows out so fast.

Skated one of these once

Skates like a regular board.
