i have like 4 setups for different stuff and i hate it. i have 90a wheels for street because my town is still fucked from WWII or something. then i have a board with 100a wheels for riding bowls. and a couple of oldschool setups and cruisers.. i'd really like to have ONE board, but that's just not possible. life is shit.

I used to do that, have a gnarly bowl setup, a street setup, a cruiser, etc, but just learned to live with one. The old lady didn't dig on skateboards laying around everywhere, plus I felt like I had too many boards that didn't get enough love.

mmmmm the concave is medium if i compare it with other boards i had. I havent riden it yet cause my previous board has a little more life, but i rode a friends roger 8 size and i think they are very comfortable.

i only use one set up for actual skating, but i have a crail cruiser and a creature coffin cruiser for grocery shopping and errands. the creature has big OJ3s on it, but the crail turns proper. maybe i will put some krux bushing on that creature so it turns better.

I just picked up some fresh indy 139s (stage 10 not forged though) and moved up to an 8.25. I had to shave my bushings down more then they were before cause i feel like the kingpin is shorter or something and the nut wouldnt stay on. but now its feeling pretty good. 8.25s seem to be the perfect size. thin enough to still flip but wide enough to feel like my feet arnt hanging off the sides. love it

How hard are flip tricks with that big guy? I don't want to lose all of my tricks just to have a bigger board.

its not bad... i had a real hard time doing any flip tricks on an 8.5 when i rode them, but the 8.25 isnt a whole lot different then the 8 i was riding. i feel just as comfortable doing flip tricks on it as i was before, but have more board to land on.
however, i did learn switch tres on the 8.5... i dont know... go with 8.25, their perfect

I once bought a case each of Gatorade, Coke and water from Sam's Club, then filled a chest with ice and sold them at the skate park for a buck.
I was only there for 4 hours on a weekday afternoon, I covered my expenses and made 14 bucks. Plus I had a bunch of Cokes and shit left to drink. I bet if you did that two days in a row one weekend you could make enough cheddar for a new setup. You might be able to trade for some shit, too.
