Skateboarding is what you make of it...I don't care what anyone else is doing when I'm skating. I'm there to have fun and that's what I do. Sure there's been times when some little kids snake me, or get pissed off and throw their boards when they don't land a trick, but I just chuckle and go about my business.

The new "styles" used to get on my nerves a little bit (skinny jeans, funny hats/sneakers/etc...), but one day I had an epiphany...I said to myself, "Who the fuck am I to say these kids look funny? When I was their age, people used to give me the stink eye for wearing super baggy cut off jeans and shit, punk t-shirts, and so on...I don't want to be one of the people that I hated when I was a kid. Let them do what they want." I won't wear that stuff, but I won't judge anyone else for expressing themselves.
