I always wondered if people who parkour get kicked out of spots as much as a guy with a skateboard does...

"I always wondered if people who parkour get kicked out of spots as much as a guy with a skateboard does..."

I contacted my local police department and this is the list they gave me in terms of priority for kicking people out.

High priority perps:
- Men wearing nothing but trenchcoats and dress socks
- Skateboarders or anyone wearing a shoe lace belt

Medium priority perps:
- Homeless people
- Breakdancers

Low priority perps:
- People with mustaches
- Parkour experts (classified by: rolling, tumbling or jumping inappropriately)

What's wrong with skateboarding is all the little posers running around thinking their badass wearing Element gear, and they dont even skate!

They represent the culture of it but don't actually skate.  That's the problem. They just use it to try and look ''cool''. and a lot of people like that who actually do skate suck horribly at it

since when does element represent the culture (barf@ "culture of skateboarding," btw.) of skateboarding (or for that matter "look cool?")? and since when did you have to be good at skating to enjoy it?

you sound suspiciously like one of those PURISTS i keep hearing so much about.

I never said Element represented the culture. And i agree, you dont have to be good at skating to enjoy it. I'm not too good myself honestly. I was just saying, it gets kind of old going to the skatepark and seeing kids there and they don't even do anything. The last time i went to the skatepark there was these kids down there who didn't even have boards, they just found a trash can lid and slung dirty water all over the place.

I never said Element defined the culture of skating. i think you misunderstood my post. What i meant was, theres kids out there who use the concept of skateboarding to look cool, and a lot of them wear element gear, because it seems to be the skate brand everyone knows about because of people like Bam[nothing against him, i like him a lot, just saying]. And well, frankly i dont like that.
