Glen can actually play bass.  Sid is a little more fun to watch.  That's about it.

not saying they haven't changed a little bit, but compare them to what happened to dead kennedys or social distortion, they've at least stuck to their message and style of music

Sorry, they've stuck with the same melody, but that's not really a good thing.  The truth is they were good until Mr. Brett quit, and now they're trying to salvage that now that he's back (and playing with 18 guitar players).

DK doesn't really count since DK minus Jello = shit.

Social D has had the same basic sound since their self titled album from like 1990.  Before that they were more raw and less rock.  But they were kids.

A good band evolves over time while still sounding good.  Stick to their roots I guess.  You can hear similarities from Mommy's Little Monster in their latest album.

Put on BR's latest album and then listen to How Can Hell Be Any Worse and you just scratch you head.
