I left the house this morning without my copy of Fully Flared.  I was really pysched to get Carrol and Howard's autograph's on it today.  Fuck.

I skated my barrier spot for a good hour last night, trying to pull off a proper back smith.  Finally got one that felt good and twanked, but then the release and roll away made it feel like total garbage on that thing.  I don't know if I wanted to focus my board more while I was getting pissed trying to get the trick or from the let-down from it not actually being fun at that spot.

OK, I was just bragging about my parking lot paradise down the street from my house but today I got kicked out within 3 minutes!  I  started to put wax on a curb and a cop rolls up, catching me in the act  : lol.  Luckily he was mellow and just told me to leave.  I did....

It's been over a week and I still haven't gotten paid for working at the fireworks stand. Starting to stress a little bit because I really need the money to start getting my shit together for my roadtrip next month. I know I'm going to get paid, but this waiting game really sucks.

Nothing worse than waiting an exorbitant amount of time to collect money for work already done. I did a trip out to Portland and Seattle that saw me eating more ramen than usual and I got home completely broke with almost a month to wait for my check.

Bonus bummer: I was scant blocks from Burnside when I got the call from the guy I was working with that it was time to dip for Seattle. I didn't have my board with me but I sure would have liked to see the park.

Hard Drive on my Laptop died after having the thing for six months. Sent off to Toshiba to get fixed. Back in two weeks.

Wait! You can also tell her about most graphic designers that pay their dues in the industry make from $60,000 to $120,000 a year. She wont really understand until you start making a living though.
