this sure was a tough one.  i have put a lot of thought into it over the last few days, as well as leading up to the announcement.  to much to be bothered to type.  basically my conclusion is that i have no idea what to think.  what i do think though is that Mariano, Busenitz (and the Gonz!) are legendary skaters who don't really need a trophy. those dudes will be remembered long after the next bunch of big rail junkies come and go. 

and obviously, thrasher picked their dude to win. congrats David.

Haven't seen pretty sweet, so it's hard to say about Guy. I thought Figgy should have won it, but can totally understand the choice of David as well.

This was kind of like the year Leo won for me - I'm not a huge DG fan but I can't even pretend to deny the onslaught of carnage. The video part was ridiculous.
