I didn't really care, but I don't act this way in person.
I skate by myself and I'm encouraging to future or younger skaters.
but I don't like when people pretend like there down for skating, but don't have the heart.

I skate by myself because I'm the only one in my "group" who is into skating. It's also pretty sweet that they accept the fact that I'm a skater and not bash me for it. That's another reason why I feel accepted here, I can come here and talk about skating and not be bashed for it.

yah, i know what you mean, skating alone takes all expectations and pressure and shit like that off and takes the level of skating up and the level of shit talk all the way down. ut skating a session with alot of people that are fired up to skate is also pretty awesome, no denying it.

Yeah, I kind of agree.  I skate alone alot, mainly because it just kind of melts my worries away.  I can kind of get into a groove of just doing tricks over and over and forget about everything else.  Its different than turning into a kind of "just something to do when you're hanging out" thing.
And yeah, alot of my friends used to skate when I started...we all started together.  But i'm the only one who kept at it.

I saw this kid try to boardslide a streetlight post (that was knocked down by a truck) and he split his shin and broke his wrist after bailing. It was pretty damn crazy. It was easily the worst slam I've ever seen.

i agree. i usually skate alone, or with one or two friends.
my friend and i usually go skate different parks together, you get motivated easier.

worst slam, i've taken some, one that i remember was nollie to nose grind to face plant on a handrail. i didn't actually face planted i kinda got my hands down in time, but it was shit eating time nonetheless.

believe it or not, worst slam was on a 3ft spine ramp.  was trying fs 180 over the spine, kicked out my board, landed on the flat, foot planted, body still rotating.....result=broken tibia and fibula.  12 screws and 2 plates, and no skating for almost a year!!!!

Back in 2003, i hit a stair set that i dont remember how big it was but i shattered my right femur.It sucked:)

today i was playing skate and did a shuv and fucked it up but tried to stay on as hard as i could to keep from getting a letter and ended up busting my ass harder than I ever have on flatground. My shoe came off and my elbows were bleeding...fucking pitiful. funny though.

Just today at about 4:00pm......ive been working on this hip at our local park trying to get bigger and bigger everytime,this time i went the biggest i have so far and landed perfect but, as soon as i landed and got to where the wood meets the cement[yes, its wood:(] and a biker was going up the ramp i was going down so i stiffend my soulder into him and the hard handlebar area of his bike and things went flyin!I took him out and got up first(im 115 lbs by the way),his brake levers got ripped totally off and his handlebars got bent.So, the moral of this story is that bikes suck and dont drop in on people and pay more attention. Its kinda like surfing,dont snake or get snaked!All in all, it felt damn good taking a biker out:)
