Street league is turning skateboarding into something it shouldn't be.  I was at my friends house the other day and he doesn't skate, doesn't watch skate videos, doesn't know shit about skating at all, he watches soccer and football and is really into sports.  I brought up skateboarding and said something about Malto and the first thing that came out of his mouth was "HE FUCKING SUCKS HE LOST IN LIKE HIS HOMETOWN HE SHOULDN'T BE PRO HE NEEDS TO BE TRADED."  The Berrics and Street league are turning skateboarding into just another jock-ass sport.

would be cool but not if it made skating a douchey jock sport. That would be stupid i hate jocks and i would never want skating to be like that but if they could keep it cool and none douchey i would love it.

skateboard |ˈskeɪtˌbɔ(ə)rd|
noun
a short narrow board with two small wheels fixed to the bottom of either end, on which (as a recreation or sport) a person can ride in a standing or crouching position, propelling themselves by occasionally pushing one foot against the ground.
verb [ no obj. ] (often as noun skateboarding)
ride on a skateboard.
DERIVATIVES
skateboarder noun

As in, it's not a lifestyle. Your lifestyle may include skateboarding, but it does not define skateboarding.

High jump (hippy jump)
Biggest air (halfpipe/mega)

i would say that a skate mag message board that probably has more that 10000 years of skateboarding experience trumps your shitty google search results, and opinion.

The olympics are for horses and ice skaters. LAME POOP. So skateboarding should probably be before the horses, so the horse poop doesn't get on the grip tapes. Maybe they could ollie the horses?
