DUANE PETERS GUNFIGHT &
ANTI-NOWHERE LEAGUE

Photos and words: Schmitty

It was 9pm when I got an urgent call from Lance Conklin (who's now playing bass for Duane Peters' Gunfight). Their van had broken down 14 miles out of SF, and they needed someone with a hitch to come pull their trailer to Thee Parkside so they could play. We called around franticly and found that all our bros with hitches were either out of town or out at a bar and unable to man the wheel. Out of nowhere came the Skull Candy RV, landing Duane and the boys curbside just in time to load their equipment and play ahead of the Anti-Nowhere League. I usually don't review shows on the site, but this was a good one. Here's some photos:

Dylan Rieder graces the August cover with a tall order back Smith. Austyn Gillette joins the party inside with a ten-page article documenting his and Dylan's spot-destruction mission to Berlin. Eswic jumps in the van for the best road trip ever; Vans goes nuts to butts in Greece; TJ Rogers and Boo Johnson get the Heads treatment and Torey Pudwill's 20-page interview leaves no doubt that he's gunnin' for SOTY this year.
