The roots of Thrasher are simple, F Vitello told me straight: “If you ain’t havin’ fun, why do it?” I had no answer. Skate rock is what it is, a lifestyle, a way to see things in a different light. This music and videos are all done by skaters for skaters. If you like it, cool. If ya don’t, well, read something else. We came up with a plan; maybe it’ll suck, maybe it’s the balls. Anyway, we’re doing something that’s not for anybody to judge. We ain’t selling nothin’, just shedding a light in the darkness. -Jake Phelps
