wow these guys are great. both are really smart and seem to have some things in life figured out.

Older dudes like this are an inspiration. Grew thinking that 25 was the expiration date. from experience, and from their perspectives, this ageist bullshit is being laid to rest.

It's good to see that skateboarders are taking their history seriously; giving the older heads the respect and (more importantly)financial support that they deserve for putting in the innovative and punishing work that they did.

why did we ever let our heroes just crawl away and die in the gutter or under the porch like a pet that just got hit by a car?

Once again, Noway has no say. Gleaming the Cube is on cable for the 6,000th time. Skate. Or, on the other hand: don't. Maybe you could get sponsored by a hair care company, or OOooh! a wristwatch company!! Or.. you might scrape your elbow & call it quits. Maybe hackey-sacks will make a comeback and the media can focus on them and average people will start wearing hackeysack brands, which will piss off the 'real' hacker's til they quit in disgust. Or, maybe even sport-cup-stacking. YYYEEEAAAHHHhh
