Thrasher canvasses the United States this month on a whirlwind tour that’d make even your favorite presidential candidate stop to catch his or her breath
First off is a top secret mission to an abandoned Army base and former POW camp in Bastrop, TX, home to a couple pools and some DIY ’crete jobs. From there The Mag heads southeast to Tampa Am, with Lizard, Pensyl, The Nuge, and Abdias Rivera getting down along the way. Then it’s back up and west to Denver, where Windsor James, The Skate Ninja, Jared Stoots, and Angel Ramirez get gnar around the Mile High City.
Also in the April Thrasher: Brandon Westgate, Terrel Robinson, and James Hardy Heads; SOTY party madness; and the Zzounds of Beirut, No Age, Matt Bauer, and Ghoul.
Get some.

March issue (TK cover) might still be out there somewheres, otherwise you can always order back issues in the store...best bet is to subscribe and pay only $1.50 an issue delivered to your door...

Damn. I forgot that Thrasher was actually a magazine.
I really miss BigBrother. now that was a magazine.
y'all should switch your subscriptions to the skateboard mag. They adopted most of the staff from Big Brother, and their editor doesn't drop the 'n' word all the time and throw shit at the heads of black skaters. That cracker-ass shit is embarrassing.

Sheckler has a quote on the cover of the new transworld saying something like "this is my year to shut people up" or something retarded.

SB mag definitely has the best photos (like Hewitt's cover this month) but the articles are hella corny
Thrasher wins for almost as good photos and good writing

how about Juice or Concussion magazines?
The Juice issues last me about a week while sitting on the can, and Concussion is gnarly.
Carnie and Niercarto (or however the fuck you spell that dirtbag's name) write for the SBmag. These guys are the bright lights in skateboard media. thrasher's letters section has be crap since the 80's, and most of their articles boring are not even funny. Sieben's stuff started out brilliantly, but now he seems to be reaching out for the cheapest laugh.
the SBmag seems to have retired Clyde Singleton, and that was the first section that I would actually read. Thrasher should hire this dude, b/c he is one the few dudes that doesn't seem compelled to suck on the industry's throbbing cock.
Less racist hillbilly alchoholics and more wit and irreverence please.
