Tensor made a commercial introducing their new Magnesium Metal trucks, which are apparently lighter than light.

Am I the only person in the world that thinks that having a light board is fucking stupid? The heavier the board the more solid it feels. I guess kids think lighter will make them ollie higher, radical.

I think you misunderstand, lighter means more response, which is key for tech skating, and really any skating. you want to get that double hardflip ? Even regular tres are easier. lightness is key so you require less force from your legs to get the same response. Thats why its key for any board or truck. Think in context and see that it'll make ur boarding 10x better.

haha!!! remember those feather light element bearings? (the mini bearings that had to be snapped into a piece of plastic to fit in the wheel)now that was stupid. lighter trucks means more little kids flailed 360 flips coming for you shins.

Gullwing? Nice reference; maybe they did, but, for sure, Tracker trucks had a magnesium. They were in yellow and cost a lot. I was a fan of the Tracker ultralights, which (some may recall) had a plastic baseplate. They were light, but sometimes the corners would break off. Shit, though, I miss G&S trucks - which were steel- and grinded really well. There was also SanDiego trucks, very similar. Both of those would grind the most F'd up curbs and ledges, and had allen kingpins, like a GrindKing. Can I get a what-what?!? Huh?

Not going to help you power through pool coping, lazer flipper. lame trucks, but Dae and Rodney are rad, even on those crappy trucks.

haha! Tensor!!!! hahahahahahahhahahahaaaa! It doesn't matter how light you make your trucks if they suck dick... Trucks are supposed to be balanced, not too light... they're the only part of the set up that shouldn't be ultra light... I heard Daewon rides the cross sometimes...
