The wizards rolled into Seattle and used their sticks to part the skies for a great day. Some magic was seen by Rick Howard, Eric Koston, Sean Malto, Julien Stranger, Robbie Russo, Frank Gerwer, Brian Anderson, Rick McCrank, Alex Olson, Peabody, P-kid, and Andrew Allen. It was the grand finale for the Beauty and the Beast Tour so keep your eyes peeled for the vid real soon. Epic.

Interesting how street features are making up a majority of the parks these days, still good though. Blunt on the jersey barrier was nice eventhough it was sketched. Yep, Koston is still overrated and Malto is still killing it.

what can I say???
what a bunch of fags.
Posted by smokey pokey | June 3, 2008 9:43 AM
Koston invented all the trick Malto does. I'm not even a fan of Koston and I know he's pretty much the best.
Posted by jason | June 3, 2008 9:57 AM
Koston over rated?!?!?! Smoke some more crack. Did anyone notice the street Body, that shit was TIGHT!
Posted by A fan | June 3, 2008 10:04 AM
what's the deal with Frank Gerwer? Seems like dude's retirement model has been in the works for some time now.
this guy is clowning like a drunk and haggard Simon Woodstock to stay on Antihero. his decks are the woopie cushions of skateboarding. More Cardiel and less Frank please.

koston overrated?! where were you in 1991... when koston was around malto's age... killing it... still killing it now... more than half the pros from those days are gone. koston can't be overrated at this point... he's just eric koston period. go educate yourelf and watch h-street next... busta must be busted at skating. kids don't know their history.
Posted by dumbasses | June 3, 2008 11:23 AM
It's unfortunate Koston and and the rest of the Girl OG's Howard Carrol Jeron Guy etc...are all washed up. Malto is killing them and Mike Mo is their best rider now. I guess that's the nature of skating. Eventually you just end up riding out your name and getting away with it since you were good a long time ago.
Posted by noway | June 3, 2008 11:36 AM
noway some folks become legends... and legends don't have to perform for the likes of you.
Posted by washup | June 3, 2008 11:38 AM
carroll washed up?...you are straight up trippin'! remember that one old video from2007--fully flaired.
...oh, your trying to get a rise out of the old guys...well done.
Posted by sheckler's washed up | June 3, 2008 11:54 AM
I guess if you think carrol doing smith grind and feeble grind combo's to death is impressive. Sure he isn't washed up. I mean look at Koston. He look like a batttered old man. Guy's the only one left who can hang..which is impressive conserdering the hiatus he took from the scene.
Posted by noway | June 3, 2008 12:26 PM
Howard Killed it and so did Koston. What, you think they just putted around? Rick was actually trying to get creative with the course. Malto got sick with it but other than the rail he didn't really skate anything else. It was a good demo and I didn't really see any half-assing. Well, maybe Gerwer...but who cares. Kids are idiots.
Posted by Bremerton, WA | June 3, 2008 12:32 PM
Noway...please stop putting your foot in your mouth. You don't have a clue what your talking about. Battered old man? Is he supposed to have the face of a babies ass and do some gymnastics to show you hes still got young knees? STFU.

Meh. Half the people that you kids call legends are overateed. The question is which one is more? Koston, Gonz, Penny, Dae Won or J Thomas.
Posted by noway | June 3, 2008 12:50 PM
Ok Noway. What would have impressed you? Im curious to know what you were expecting. Did you think they were going to set up the mega ramp and launch the park? Maybe warm up with tre-flip noseblunts and hard-flip crooked grinds? Have you ever seen professional skateboarding in real life or is it just the internet that shows you what life is all about?
Posted by Bremerton, WA | June 3, 2008 12:54 PM
koston, gonz, penny, daewon, j. thomas are overrated?
then who's left...oh yeah--benji galloway, chris lambert and steve saiz. thopse dudes rip and inspire.

I love balls on my chin and tossing sweaty salad after a good fruit boot sesh. Dong for life. Do you guys have any nude pics of Steve Schneer?
Posted by noway | June 3, 2008 2:00 PM
So what are old pro's supposed to do? I think it's rad they take the young bucks out on tour and show them the ropes. Malto and Alex kill it yes - but what have they done as a whole compared to Rick, Eric, Gonz, etc? As of now, they have not done anything to establish a "legacy" as their "forefathers in skateboarding" have done. If it wasn't for those guys, you wouldon't be skating, nor would skateboarding be as "big" (good or bad) as it is now. Most skaters are down for life, while some rip for a second and are gone forever. LIFERS FOREVER BITCH! No matter how good you are. Roll on......
Posted by GET SOME | June 3, 2008 2:03 PM
I'm embarrassed to be associated with the noway fags around here that call themselves skaters. The "washed up skaters", it's their tour they aged, they can do what they want. Mark Gonzales is "washed up", but wtf cares? He's a legend. Noway - drag razor over wrists, do not call for help.
And the bitches saying "you posted a video, you ruined everything" Fuck you too. What a bunch of fags.
Posted by Anonymous | June 3, 2008 2:07 PM
"you kids"? What fuck dude, like you're not a kid? The only conceivable way that someone could say those dudes are overrated is if they are some little zit-faced internet-shit-talking kook who just got into some fancy skate "gear". You're fucking retarded, noway. And I never fucking swear, you stupid fuck.
Posted by yesway | June 3, 2008 4:17 PM
I think noway is antagonizing you fools for the fun of it.
to all of you who are defending Koston: he doesn't need your help.
Gerwer needs some time at the Betty Ford clinic. If I toured with dudes like TNT and Hewitt, and I was primarily a street guy, I would hit the bottle as well. Frank is a clown to merely have something to do at those Oregon and Aussie parks.
can some forward this link to Frank?

dude needs an intervention

Rick Howard in the Blockhead days - he was way ahead. Eric Koston in the 101 videos- fs flip Carlsbad, when no one was doing fs flips. And switch tre~ the 7 at EMB. By definition- switch tre's are now an "old-school" trick. I bet joggers don't get so hung up on specifics as we (skateboarders) do. Nonoway. I'll just go fuck myself now, don't bother to tell me.

actually koston bs flipped carlsbad. not fs. and KF and sw fs bigspin. personally I think koston was the farthest ahead of us in Next Generation. he did alot of tricks in that part that had never been seen before. regardless; you can never call him washed up or a has been.
