GOOD: Concrete park with two bowls that connect with a spine, a pyramid, a quarter pipe, a rail, numerous curbs and a small hip. The bowls are kind of fun and there are plenty of ledges and curbs to grind.

BAD: The transitions are a bit tight and it's hard to keep a good speed line going. Also, the spine is too wide to grind over and the rail is hard to get at. This place gets packed with kids on the weekend and the park is located right next to the Carlsbad Police Station. Cops drive by every five minutes and are eager to write tickets to those without helmets.

PADS: Helmets only and strictly enforced by patrolling cops.

ADDRESS: Faraday Ave & Orion St, Carlsbad, CA 92010, USA

HOW TO FIND IT: From the 5 freeway get off at Palomar Airport Road and go east to El Camino Real and take a left. Go 1/4 mile to Faraday and take a right and follow all the way to the park.
