The only think I knew about Half Moon Bay was that legendary 'Ragnar' was the top surf dog over there. One day I decided to go over and scope the waves and stopped by the local surf shop HMB. The surf barnie over there said "there's no waves brah, but a new skatepark opened for the flat days. So I took my long board out and cruised over to check it out.
WHAT: A miniramp, a pyramid, some quarterpipes all layered with skatelite
GOOD: The miniramp is good but needs a new layer.
BAD: The pavement is hell, they allow rollerbladers and surf barnies call you howlie.
PADS: Helmet laws are posted but not enforced.

HOW TO FIND IT: Take the 92 west to HMB and go south on HWY 1, turn left on State street and the park is on the right.
