WHAT: Another east bay skatepark built no higher than 5 feet. Cement hips, a pyramid, and some bowls. Many are calling it the best skatepark within an hour of San Francisco(not saying much).
GOOD: The pyramid is cool and has a good launch hip into a bowl, also have a chance to see skaters like Correy Duffel change outfits twice in five minutes. Look out for Jacob Tilman as well.
BAD: The coping doesn't always grind and as usual, new parks equals lots of kooks.
PADS: Yes, but not sure how inforced it is...I'd bring em just in case.
ADDRESS: 3899 Pacific, Ave Livermore, CA 94550, USA
HOW TO FIND IT: Take the 580 east to Livermore and take the North Livermore exit. Go south and it turns into South Livermore ave, go about two miles and turn left on Pacific ave. At the end of the street is Sunken Garden Park. Enjoy!
