WHAT: On the outskirts of Oakland there is a portion of town where the upperclass live called Piedmont. Mr. October Reggie Jackson and others live in these parts. For some reason they have built a skatepark, but now that it is built, apparently they are trying to figure out how to keep the riff raff out...

GOOD: A couple bowls with funboxes, and a tight snake run. The cement is smooth and fast but not slippery and the bowls are good with room to learn lots of lines. BAD: Doesn't open till 3 and is very security unfriendly. Also, park is on a downhill slant, so watch out for zooming boards to the dome in the lower bowl area.

PADS: YES! Elbows, knee pads and helmet. McGill would be stoked

ADDRESS: 800 Moraga Ave, Piedmont, CA 94618, USA

HOW TO FIND IT: Take the 24 to 51st exit go into Piedmont and pass Piedmont street, turn left on Maraga. Drive up a ways and look for the baseball field on the left, the park is above the field.
