Tamarindo is kind of a shitty town for Costa Rica. There are a bunch of jocks living on their parents' dime. MTV springbreak will most likely be there soon. It is a cool skate destination, the bowl is fun and you can get a hostel right by the park for about ten bucks a night.
WHAT: Really good snake run into a pool like deep-end.
GOOD: Concrete coping, close to beach
BAD: Tourist and heat

HOW TO FIND IT: You have to go up a dirt road about a block from the address. It's a small town, ask anybody where the park is.
